Gary S. began his musical career playing bass for LC Houston of the Sly, Slick, and Wicked Band out of Columbia Missouri. The band played the Blues throughout the Midwest and down South on the Chittlen Circuit. During the 1990’s Gary relocated to the West Coast playing in multiple rock bands and pursuing every studio gig he could get. Eventually Gary settled in Seattle Washington, where he moved aboard the sailboat LILIOUKALANI. While in Seattle, he started performing with Dean Moller and Stranger by the Minute. After there untimely demise, Gary has played Jazz with Mike Deasy and drummer Brother Kasyn, as well as several other jazz, and rock bands. He has recently been playing with The Bill Derry Band. Gary’s current band is Evergreen Sky. Gary is available for session work and pick up gigs.
